BOM List
« on: July 29, 2012, »
I noticed that the 16 port passive hub boards are available in the store, but there is now BOM list in the wiki.  Are the parts the same as the Active hub minus the DMX stuff? Also the Firmware link is missing.

On another concern there seams to be a few other items missing the BOM list.

Thanks
Kevin

There is no firmware for the passive hub. Just a few 485 chips to buffer the signal and a couple of jumpers to select which wire pair/pixelnet universe to use.

how does one create a BOM list?

in the discussion about spare parts, I'm thinking that a BOM could be prepared that lists common DLA parts for anyone wanting spare parts.  When the BOM is selected, the user could adjust the counts.

Normally RJ creates the bom list for his boards.

Anyone can create one by logging into Mouser and creating a parts list and then share it.
