Well its interesting and for me not a very safe thing to do.

I could see setting that up and running them and the local police knocking on the door to have them remove.

Hopefully no kids get burnt from them

I thought the DMX spec states that DMX should not be used for pyro or motion control...  (mainly due to the lack of error detection).  I'd stay far away from these.

Would never ever consider something like that.

it can very easily and rapidly spoil the joy of the season.
