Title: I managed to do it!
Post by: Rogelio on April 02, 2012,
Being a first timers to this, I am proud of myself.
I built 4 LE's, 2 MR16's and an EtherDongle, all from this years coops, and got them working.  I was excited to finally see lights come on and off.  The soldering was easy thanks to the assembly instructions and well labeled boards.  The configuration...a little harder.  But with enough searching the forum, and experimenting, I was able to get done what I needed. :)
Had to flash two of my LE's and the ED.  Could not find directions on addressing the LE's but trial and error with the buttons, I got it right.  I found a Vimeo vid on the MR16 using the test function in Vixen to set its address.  There may be other ways but I couldnt get the config utility to work with the new EtherDongle.
It would help to have configuration and addressing instructions in one place.  I can write up what I did but I am sure there are people much more knowledgeable than me who could do it better.
Thanks to RJ and everyone here.
Roy
Now, for a few extension cords.... :)

I believe that's the only way to program them currently.  good job!
