Yup.. Worked for a communications company that had two lines for SMT assembly..  noisy things they are too....  But it's amazing to watch them in action...  hundreds of parts populating a PCB in no time at all!!!  Just amazing....

Rick, in some states you can go down to Home Depot and "pick" up some workers then tel them to "place the lights on your house.   >:D

That's cool. With more parts only in surface mount only, more of these will be showing up. I would like to see more on the vision, but this gives me more crazy ideas..

It's a small world - I built one of his CNC machines from MDF years ago and he came to my shop and we worked on some improvements to the design.  He started off building the machines in his bathroom!  Amazing guy - doesn't suprise me that he built his own pick-n-place machine.
