Title: Ray Wu order question
Post by: SteveMaris on November 02, 2012,
Hey guys,
Seasons greetings, good to be back in the swing of things.

Question: I ordered 3 sets of dumb strings. I got them and the spacing was wrong.

I emailed Ray and he has the correct ones coming to me next week.
I asked Ray if I should give the box of incorrect ones (3 times) to the Fed Ex driver, and his only reply was sorry for the mistake.

The one thing I will not do is pay for return shipping to him.

Has anyone had a similar experience? What was involved in the process?
Thank you...

Steve,
Ray shipped me the incorrect power supply last year and he immediately shipped me the correct one and said he didn't want the incorrect one shipped back to him.

I have never had him ask for the wrong stuff back.

That is the best customer service I've ever seen.

I did have to pay shipping when he replaced all my ip66 nodes (the original ones) with ip68 nodes. However that was for 1008 nodes so it was a lot of shipping. He did want all the old ip66 back.

I had similar situation. He sent 5 volt power supplies instead of 12v. I just sold supplies on the forums. They were sold quickly because buyer paid cost of supplies plus US shipping not shipping from China. I then sent Ray the money. Win win.

They are 12v RGB dumb strings. 3 sets of 100 lights, with 3 inch spacing.
