Title: setting up network for EtherDongle

Do I only need to setup the universes till I get to the channels I'm using?

I'm using 3.3k channels

Pixelnet firmware on EtherDongle

Do i need to setup all 32 universes?
Do i even need to setup 8 universes?
Can I just setup the 7 universes that will cover my channels?

Last year I just setup 8 universes and it ran just fine

So you should be fine with 7

of course if it hangs up then add the 8th one  ;D

Any number up to 32 will work with the ED. In my configuration this year, I have the first 8 universes set to the ED, then 2 more set to DMX dongles.
