Hello DLA Members,
This COOP is for the Lynx Aeon Clock

Please read this post completely before participating in this COOP.
PIC’s will be programed for this COOP and the following kits will be offered.
Kit #1 - Aeon PCB with parts. This kit includes the PCB and all parts needed to build the clock.
There will be no PCB or parts only options in this COOP.

The COOP will be limited to 100 kits.
This COOP will close on March 23, 2012 at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time or when it fills its limit of 100 kits.
Full Payment is expected when the COOP is closed. All members will receive PMs or be directed by post with details on how to pay once the COOP closes.
Please get your PayPal payments in as soon as you get the COOP invoice PM. No orders will be placed until all payments have been received.
By joining this COOP, you also agree that the COOP manager, DLA (as a board to also include all administrators, moderators, and members) shall not be held for any liability. You are joining this COOP at your own risk.

We have a base goal for kit #1 of 25 kits. This goal allows the cost per unit to drop low enough to make it cost effective to run the COOP. Below this number we will not make the order.
Here is the pricing breakdown based on the initial quote(s) from the vendor. Pricing is in US Dollars and includes the kit cost plus the 3% COOP fee. Shipping and the 3% PayPal fee must be added to these estimated prices.
Kit #1 – Lynx Aeon Clock PCB with Parts (with PCB)
$57.50 per kit at 25 kits
This is an estimate. As always, higher numbers reduce pricing and lower numbers increase pricing.
Shipping will be by US Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes. For kit #1, 1-3 kits should fit in a medium box. Larger orders will require a larger box or multiple boxes.
Small Flat Rate Box: $5.80 (US), $19.95 (Canada), $23.95 (International)
Medium Flat Rate Box: $12.35 (US), $40.95 (Canada), $59.95 (International)
Large Flat Rate Box: $16.85 (US), $53.95 (Canada), $77.95 (International)
If you wish to have insurance on your package, it is your responsibility to choose the amount and look up the cost to add. You must add this to your PayPal payment and in the comments explain you paid for insurance and how much. We cannot be held responsible for your package once accepted at the post office and we have a receipt of shipment if it is not insured.

Post the quantity of each kit you wish and your country for shipping calculations (US, Canada or International) in this thread. If you later wish to change your quantity, please post again clearly stating that this is an update to a previous order and state the new quantity.

Okay everyone, the COOP is closed for orders. Please ensure that your order quantity and country is correct as the COOP is now closed. If you have changed your mind and need to cancel your order please let me know as soon as possible as this affects the prices for everyone.
Whats next? The next step in the COOP process is to get final quotes for the numbers of kits we are ordering. Once I get the quotes and do some math I will generate the cost that you owe for the COOP and send you a PM with further directions.

COOP/DLA Members,
I had one member that had to back out of the COOP. With that being said I have received all other payments at this time.
Due to the member that had to back out, I have 1 kit available for purchase. In order to make everything fair, the first person to post a response to this post will be eligible to purchase it. I will only keep the kit available for 24 hours and will coordinate with the member via PM after posting in the forum.

Hi COOP members,
I just wanted to give everyone an update as to where we are at in the COOP process. I have all of the parts ordered and they should be here this week. RJ is working on getting the PCB's for us. Once the parts get here I will work on getting them sorted.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give a status update. I got the first parts in today and I will probably get my table and workbench set up today to begin to sort parts.

Time for another update.
The order from Mouser came in so I now have all of the components and I have started the sorting process.
I should have all of the components sorted by the end of the weekend. Once I get the PCB's in I will get the packages ready and get them shipped off.

All right everybody.
Here is the status as of today.
-PIC's have been programmed
-All of the components have been sorted, bagged and boxed up (picture)
-RJ is waiting for delivery of the PCB's and should have those delivered to me in about a week or two
Once the PCB's get here they will get wrapped up and put in the boxes with the rest of the parts. Then they will get mailed out a couple of days later.
One last bit of info for everyone, from my avatar you can probably guess who my employer is and the last couple of months have been interesting to say the least. The short and sweet story is that Mrs. NavyGator will be finishing the COOP just like last year.

I got great news. The PCB's arrived yesterday, were sorted and the boxes were closed up. Mrs. NavyGator should have all the packages mailed out by Friday. I will let everyone know once all the boxes are shipped.

Got my clock on the 8th as well put it together and mounted on Friday and it works great! well maybe to great. A few friends are already asking to build them one. thanks for running this coop..
