Title: Bulb covers for SS lights
Post by: txag2008 on August 06, 2014,
Anyone had any experience using bulb covers on the SS bullet lights?  Good experience? Bad?  How well do they stay on? Are they secured to the light in any way?

something like this, http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/faceted-White-C9-covers-100pcs-set/701799_506253078.html (http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/faceted-White-C9-covers-100pcs-set/701799_506253078.html)

I use them and rather like them. The ones I have are press on. I had some that were too snug  and someone had suggested that you just ream them out a little bigger. They work great. I have the facetted, but I do believe there are a couple more styles and in c7 too. I use c9. As far as secure I put a little dab of hot glue on the base just for added security

I have over 100 of those on my roof - love them!  SOme are tight, some are loose but they work great for the most part.
