Title: Aether 2 COOP - ALL SHIPPED

This is a coop for the Aether II.  Info on this item can be found here: http://diylightanimation.com/index.php?board=31.0 and in the wiki.  This coop is for Kits that will include the PCB with parts.  There will not be a separate PCB option available with this coop.

By joining this Coop you also agree that the Coop manager, DLA (as a board to also include all administrators, moderators, and members) shall not be held for any liability.  You are joining this Coop at your own risk.

As with any Coop this Coop is subject to the forum rules.  These rules can be reviewed using the following link.

There are lenses being offered as separate kits on the coop based on an availability in stock at the time of order placement.  These will go to members in order of their orders being placed until they are all gone.  Any member left that ordered them will not receive them and will receive a refund for the lens kit cost as we will not back-order any since this would hold up the coop shipment for everyone else.

The kits do not include the light housing or 12v AC Landscape Transformer the member will need to purchase these separate. It does use the same housing as the original Aether.

The Coop will be limited to 150 Aether II kits.  This Coop will close on September 21, 2014 at 11:00 PM Eastern Time or when 150 Aether kits have been reached. Once the Coop is closed, I will send each member a PM with the details of their order and what payment is due.  Full payment is expected when the coop is closed since orders cannot be made until all members have paid.  Please get your PayPal payments in as soon as you get the Coop invoice PM since the sooner you pay me, the sooner you get your parts. Please ensure your PayPal address info is up to date.

For shipping, two Aether II kits with no lenses will fit in a small priority box for $6.15 to the US.  Anything more than that will have to go in a larger box ($13.09 to the US for a medium which will hold a lot of kits)  Final shipping costs will be sent with the payment PM.

Here are the pricing details at initial ordering amounts.  Pricing includes 3% PayPal and 3% Coop fees.  As always, higher numbers should reduce pricing.  We will need a minimum of 50 Aether II kits to make this coop feasible.

Kit 1 - Lynx Aether II  kit – PCB with parts (limit of 150 kits)
Qty 50 - $89.85 per kit

Kit 2 - SP model lens - Spot which is 15 deg (currently 151 in stock)
Qty 10 - $7.85 per lens

Kit 3 - NF model lens - Narrow flood which is 24 deg (currently 321 in stock)
Qty 10 - $7.85 per lens

Kit 4 - WF model lens - Wide flood which is 45 deg (currently 252 in stock)
Qty 10 - $7.85 per lens

Post with the quantity of each kit you wish to order in this thread.  Please do not post questions or your thoughts in the Coop thread. Start a new thread in the correct area for these. Coop threads are strictly for people requesting or modifying orders. If you later wish to change your quantity please post again clearly stating that this is an update to a previous order and how many you wish it to be now.

Change your order as you wish during the ordering portion of the Coop, but please make sure I can tell what you are changing and desired numbers.  Please check the order list that follows to make sure I don't miss your order or any changes as the Coop continues and at the end of ordering.

Although we did not meet the minimum, we can still do the coop with the caveat that the kit price will go up.  It looks like the Aether kits (Kit #1) will go up to ~$92.  If you would drop out of the coop at this price, please post here and let me know.  I will need to know by Friday, Sept. 26th at 5PM; otherwise, I will proceed using pricing at this level.

I know that questions usually don't go in the coop signup thread, but I wanted to post and ask what the expected timeline was.  Is the turnaround for ordering/receiving Aether components quick?

Will order parts ASAP after payments are in.  PCB's are usually the longest lead and they can take 3-4 weeks.  I will ship as soon as everything gets here and gets sorted.  I would look at the last coop to see how the time played out but I hope to have everything shipped by the 2nd week of November.

Just an update.  PCB's have been ordered.  Most pigtails are in.  The electronic components will be ordered in the next couple of days.  I have not ordered them yet as I have been out of town since last Friday and didn't want them sitting on my porch for a week.

Sorry for the delay.  The hardware is in and sorted.  The electronics are in and sorted except for one item that is backordered.  The PCB's should be in this week.  I have to get the heatsinks formed up.  I hope to do that next weekend and begin shipping the week of Nov. 24...pending the backorder.

The heatsink material I have is formed up.  I think I am short a couple of heatsinks, but can probably still get them done by the time the backorder gets in.  Right now, it is scheduled to be in on Friday, Nov 28th.  Should get everything boxed and shipped the following week.

Yes, yours was one of the ones not shipped yet.  I got all the rest of the parts in yesterday.  Yours will ship out tomorrow.  Sorry for the delay.  You can always check the first page for updates on who's has shipped as well.
