Title: Multiple Universe Setup
Post by: twooly on October 23, 2014,
Just want to make sure I have it right before I get too deep.  This is the first year for me to break a universe and want to make sure I have it right.

I'm talking pixelnet universes.

Universe 1 I would use channels 1-4096 in my hardware config and sequencer
Universe 2 I would use channels 1-4096 in my hardware config with my hub/zeus using the universe 2 jumpers and then use 4097 - 8192 in my sequencer?

That's it, you got it.  Hardware is always addressed in the first universe.  Just make sure that your sequencing software is configured properly to send the commands to the correct universe.

That is exactly how it's working for me with a Zues and some SSC units.

You have to switch BACK to universe 1 for any programming of the Zues start channels or SSC channels, and then switch back.

I am LSP btw and have my main display on 1-4096 and started my matrix, porcupine balls etc on universe 2.
