Title: How Do You Program The PIC??
Post by: pete peters on March 10, 2015,
How do you program the PIC on the dongle?
I have a PICKIT 3 but I don't find a header on the PCB to plug it into.

Can anyone give me a step by step "How To"?

Thanks

You can't program it on the dongle.  The chip would need to be removed and placed on a proto board like the ones form J1sys or on a breadboard.  The USB dongle is an early design and doesn't have a header.

Do you know what steps to program the chip?  I have breadboards for the PICKIT 3  but am unsure what to do?

Thanks
