Title: Vixen and USB Dongle - not working

I just completed my first soldering attempt on the USB dongle.

I am using Windows XP (32bit) + dotnet2.0 with Vixex 2.0.9

1) installed the drivers
2) plugged in the dongle and it found a new device - perfect.
3) started up Vixen with a new sequence and setup the plugin for Enttec DMX USB Pro
4) Vixen recognised it as Com3 - adjusted the speed to be 115200 baud
5) created a very simple sequence of about 15 seconds.

When I click run, the software hangs. I am not able to close the vixen until I unplug the dongle.

I thought it should it just run to the end but do nothing - as I have not plugged in the LE yet. I am still in the midst of soldering my first LE.

Help need, please.

0. Make sure that "Software" DMX option is not checked in the drop down menu.
1.  Try Vixen 2.1
2. Does your sequence have 512 channels setup?
3. Try and force a different Com Port

I unchecked the DMX option in the Add-ins menu of Vixen.

It works now.

Lets just say I have had all of those problems :)
