Title: Help.... Newbie on settings DMX adress ....

Hi,
The first MR16 was wired...
But i don't understand really the DMX settings for the board...
iF Some one have very clear description, step by step how to set the DMX adress for the first 16 channels and for the next board, etc...
I made some try, seems all leds are on, and off depeding of the status, but i don't really keep the logic how to manage it....

By the way, i used  TLC5941NT...

First grab (if you don't have it) RJ's Lynx program Click here to Download (http://diylightanimation.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2676.0;attach=2607)

Run the program on your computer with the dongle and MR16 connected
Select the start address you want
Click program

With the MR16 Powered off! Move the jumper to the program address side. Now power up the MR-16 for three full seconds and then turn it off. Now with it Powered off! move the jumper back to the operate side.


That’s it! It is set to operate on the channel you wanted. You can change it anytime and as often as you need. It will remember the address for at least 20 years with no power applied.

Oups...
Find my error...
I inverted + and - DMX signals...
Not really familiar with this RJ45 an DMX, used most of times XLR pluggs...
So it's now OK...
