Title: Wrong 485 sockets
Post by: Dennis Cherry on August 13, 2010,
Did anyone else get the wrong sockets for the TX/RX 485 chip?

Here is a picture of what I got, it is a hard wire plug instead.

I will get some locally at my favorite parts house. No the initials are not RS.

Dennis, I think that is the part from Kit 6 of the coop.  The one that allows you to connect a LX/EX to a device that doesn't have built in wireless.

Did you get a couple of those and your sockets for the 485 chips?

These are the header pins for hooking up the EX/RX to a non Lynx Express.
You had two of these headers on your order.  Please check the sealed ESD bag and let me know if you are still missing the sockets and I will send you two.
The RS485 sockets were stuck to the ESD foam inside the ESD bag, it would have been the same bag with the voltage regulators.

OK, yes they are on the under side of the foam.

First time doing these boards.

Now I do not have an excuse to go to my favorite place for electronics.  <yk..

Thanks
