This is a coop for the PARTS for the new Version 2 MR16/DC Controller board.

This COOP will feature 2 different kits, because the controller can be used 2 different ways. Kit #1 will be all the components, including the MOSFETs. This will handle the higher current devices that you attach to the board. Kit #2 will include all the parts to make this a constant current controller with each channel being able to handle up to 100ma. Please note that Kit #2 will NOT ship with the current limiting resistor. The information regarding which resistor to use can be found in the TLC5940 data sheet. Please also note that due to the availability of the MOSFETs these kits will ship with Mouser part #844-IRLZ14PBF. These MOSFETs are only rated at 60 volts while the MOSFETs before were rated at 100 volts.
No kits will contain PCBs or cases.
Please get your Paypal payments in as soon as you get the COOP invoice PM as no orders can be placed until all payments have been received.
Shipping will be based on the USPS flat rate box. This is the box that will ship in the US for $10.70 a box, international for $43.45 and Canada and Mexico for $26.95.
This Coop will close on 8:00 P.M. EST Sunday September 26th 2010 or sooner if needed. Once the Coop is closed I will send each member a PM with the details of their order and what payment is due. Full payment is expected when the coop is closed since orders cannot be made until all members have paid. Please get your Paypal payments in as soon as you get the Coop invoice PM.

50 @ $38.58
KIT #2:
50 @ $19.48
plus 3% coop fee and 3% Paypal fee.

I would like to know what everyones feelings are about this COOP. With the lack of participation and one week left, would everyone like me to continue with it? The prices are going to be higher for the components, but still cheaper than if you were going to purchase them yourself.

If people have extra MR16 PCBs they do not want let me know. I would order more part kits if I had access tol additional PCBs.

I have two ver 1 MR16 PCB's. Only difference is the pwr and dmx led's are not on the ver 1. I think they sell for about $10 each? $20 for 2 including the shipping. If I am wrong on the price let me know.

Ok everyone, I have updated the quantities. I also have a quote request into Mouser. Everything appears to be in stock. I have decided to do a couple of different things...
For those of you that ordered that CC kit (Kit #2) I am going to add additional components to the order. I will than just charge based on the pricing I get for those components per unit. There aren't a tremendous amount of those kits, so it shouldn't effect too many people. Also, by adding onto the kit order it will make the pricing less.
Also, I think the medium flat rate box is going to be way to big. So, I plan on switching over to the small flat rate box which is only $4.95.
Once I get the quote back from Mouser I will get the payment PMs sent out as well. Because everything appears to be in stock, these should get out to everyone fairly quickly.

Time for your daily update.
I have the quote back from Mouser and there are 2 of the resistors that are back ordered. One will not be in until November 24th and the other they have no ETA. So, I am going elsewhere for those resistors. Once I get those quotes back I will send out the payment PMs....hopefully tonight.
It looks as though the price per Kit #1 is less than what I originally posted but the price of kit #2 went up about 2 dollars. :-\

Will the eprom be programmed when I get the parts only kit? I do not have a programmer. Did the last guy pay yet? I will also be a backup guy to buy and pay fast if you need someone to buy his kit. Of course give to the first volunteer, SettingUpHigh just above me. He did ask first. This way we are kind of like NASA. We have a backup for the backup. <yk..

Just a a little update here for everyone...
I went ahead and ordered the parts from Mouser as I was only waiting on that one person (I am still waiting). Everything showed up today and I programmed all the PICS. (Yes, trekster they will be programmed) I will give ronniek until Wednesday to pay or else I will put his kits up to the members. All I am waiting on is the resistors that Mouser was out of and the kits will ship out. I am hoping they go out by Monday. I will finish sorting tomorrow and than just wait for the resistors.

Just an update for everyone....
I am still waiting on the resistors. Everyone in the US was out of them so I had to go overseas. They are in the US just not to me yet. I expect them this week. I am hoping to get the packages out by this weekend.
