Hello DLA Members,

This Co-op is now closed...

This Co-op will be for the Lynx Aeon clock.

More info on the Aeon can be found at http://diylightanimation.com/index.php?topic=3267.0.

There are two options for this Co-op.

Kit 1 will only include the Aeon PCB
Kit 2 will include all the other components, and the wall wart power supply, without the PCB.

You will need one Kit #1 and one Kit #2 to build a complete Aeon clock.


By joining this Co-op you also agree that the Co-op manager, DLA (as a board to also include all administrators, moderators, and members) shall not be held for any liability.  You are joining this Co-op at your own risk.

As with any Co-op this Co-op is subject to the forum rules.  These rules can be reviewed using the following link.

This Co-op will close on 9:00 P.M. EDT Monday, February 14, 2011 or sooner if needed.  

Once the Coop is closed I will send each member a PM confirming the details of their order and the payment amount that is due for parts.  After all parts are sorted and packed a second PM will be sent for the shipping amount.

Full payment for parts is expected when the coop is closed since the parts orders cannot be placed until all members have paid.

NOTE for PAYPAL payments.  Payments will be refunded if this is not done.

1.   You must have a valid shipping address in PayPal, I can only ship to the address on file with PayPal.  Please update your address information if you need to.
2.   Please submit your PayPal payments as soon as you get the Coop invoice PM.  
3.   Please select “Goods” when submitting your payment.
4.   In the notes field of the payment you must supply your Forum ID and the quantity of kits ordered, as I have no other way to track who is who.


Pricing Breakdown
Here is the pricing breakdown based on the initial quote from the vendor.  
Pricing is in US Dollars and includes PayPal and Coop fees.

As always higher numbers reduce pricing and lower numbers increase pricing.  

Kit 1 - Aeon PCB ONLY
Per kit at quantity 50 - $15.14

Kit 2 - Aeon parts kit - includes all electronic parts, wall wart,  NO PCB
Per Kit at quantity 50 - $38.55

Note: You will need one Kit #1 and one Kit #2 to build a complete Aeon clock.


Shipping will be by US Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes.  

Due to the size of the Aeon PCB and number of potential parts bags, shipping will be done with the “Medium” Flat Rate box.  Shipments will be upgraded to the “Large” flat rate box if needed.

Shipping Charges: for the “Medium” flat rate box. (in US Dollars)
Domestic: $10.95  
Canada And Mexico: $26.95
All Others: $43.45

Shipping Charges: for the "Large" flat rate box. (in US Dollars)
Domestic: $14.95
Canada And Mexico: $33.95
All Others: $55.95


If you wish for insurance on the package you will need to check for the rate at USPS.com and add this to your paypal. Then you must include in the paypal comments that you want $xxx value insurance on the package. I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged uninsured packages once dropped off to usps and I have a confirmation showing that they accepted and shipped it.

The Aeon Clock Coop is now CLOSED.

Please check the 2nd post in the thread to confirm that I have the correct number of Kit #1 and Kit #2 that you want to order. 

Please send me a PM if that number is not correct. 

Since the coop is closed No Additions or Deletions are permitted - Corrections only.

I will be getting the Payment PMS put together and out to you in a few days.

All parts have been ordered and no back orders have been indicated.

I hope to have the Kits ready to ship in about 4 to 5 weeks.
You will receive a PM for the shipping amount when I have everything sorted, packaged and ready to go.

Unfortunately we did have to drop one order from the coop, but it did not effect the pricing any.

i didnt know seal a meal was part of the aeon...  man i missed out  !

The seal a meal was only available if you solved the invisible anagram...  tool required.. the Lynx Secret Decorder ring... (coop expected in May 2016)   ... or from any package of Lynx fried wheat Breakfast cereal... 

(and I missed it tooo... )

Update:

All parts that I have received to date have been sorted and packaged. Still waiting on the last items to arrive. They should sort very quickly.

I now know the packaging and shipping cost for most of you. I will be sending out shipping payment PMs shortly. I will then be able to ship them to you as soon as I receive the remaining items.

There are some holes near the top of the PCB that are for future use. We do not populate them at this time.

THAT WAS HIS FIRST?  Wow...I'm impressed!  Great communication.  Thanks so much for doing this for all of us.  I called my dad and told him I had ordered him one so as soon as the box gets to me, I'm taking mine out and heading to the post office to ship him his.  He's excited to say the least.  By next Christmas I have a feeling he'll be building his own controllers as well.  Thanks so much for doing the co-op!

I just wanted you to know that you just ruined (or made) my day. Here I am enjoying the out-of-doors, working in my yard (here in Kansas it is a nice day). I decided to take a break and, among other things, I checked my mail. And what do you think that I found. My clock. Well---outside work has come to a halt. Mine is built and running.  Now all I need to do is bring it to work and show up those tech guys and their binary clocks (which I have a hard time reading) :).

Final Update:

All coop packages have shipped.

We will leave this open in the current coop section for one more week. Incase anyone does not receive theirs or has any problems.
