Title: Nutcracker: First addon !
Post by: smeighan on March 17, 2012,
I am pleased to announce a new tool for the Nutcracker, not written by me.

Emmanuel has created a windows based tool that will create a Vixen profile for you based on the animations created by nutcracker

http://www.emmanuelmiranda.info/

Not only has he done this in just a few days, he is now working on a profile that will show your animations in 3d in Vixen.

I only had to point him to a web site talking about world coordinates, perspective, viewpoint, physical coordinates.

The video is showing is latest, unreleased version. He figured out the 3D to 2D stuff in 1 day.

Wow, my first Nutcracker addon

Great Job Emmanuel!

Emmanuel, you are a man of few words but heavy impact.
The above youtube video shows Emmanuel's plugin for Vixen that allows you to see a 3D view of Nutcracker animations.

Emmanuel has made a dll addon for Vixen. With this addon you will be able to get a 3D preview of the vir file you just inserted into Vixen. I believe you put his dll file into your Vixen plugin/output directory?

Emmanuel, did i get the directions right?

1) go to your web page,  www.emmanuelmiranda.info (http://www.emmanuelmiranda.info), then click on 3D RGB Tree Preview Plugin.
2) unzip the file and then copy files to the plugin/output directory
3) do something else and then you get preview capability

i guess, u can tell i am fuzzy about Vixen

again, great job Emmanuel!

Hi,

On the site there is also a video of how to use the plugin an the 2 additional Addins.

The Addins dll's will go into the Addins Folder and the 3D preview into Plugins/Output Folder.

Enjoy, and please let me know if you have any questions/suggestions.
