Title: Will Xlights play a conducter file.
Post by: dpitts on July 01, 2012,
Reason I ask is because last year we had the export to lor format from lsp then import into xlights. Lsp 2.5 will have the ability to create conductor files this file may be easier to import into xlights.

I was wondering when this would get asked  :)

xLights does not currently play conductor sequences, but it should be fairly straight forward to add this capability.

The only difficulty is that conductor files have no reference to a media file. So xLights will probably need to assume that there is a media file with the same name as the conductor file (just a different extension).

Matt, adding the ability to play a conductor would be a great addition.  :)  Even with the conductor, it would be nice to have an easy fallback to the PC if needed.
