well where do i start .... yesterday everything was finely fine and working flawless ... today i turn everything on and now i back to flickering on my wireless .... and when i used full intensity ( rgb) they all on but as soon as i turn everything off ..my ligh are flicking ...then when i try to play sequence everything is flickering .... ... that is hapening on my lynx with my lsd that i have connected by cat 5 and on my lsd that i install a rx to it .... i swamp the tx/rx and same result .... i am stump ... it look like it is sending signal all time or at the wrong time .... and i am only 30 ft away from it ... do tx/rx get defect or should i try to reprogram the chip on it ??? ( wich one do i used?) i don't know what to do because it is happening to 4 board same problem

I wish I could help as I tried wireless once as well. I had times that I could not get it to work across the room. I wish it was more reliable and the future might be better but in the end I only have advice.
Wireless is nice. Copper is king.

The transmitter is powerful enough to interfere with the operation of the dongle if they are too close together.
Try it with the TX/RX at least 3 feet away from any other DLA device and at least 10 ft away from the receiver.

thanks for the idea ,,,, it is 16 ft awa now from the dongle .. same result
any other sugestion ?

in my set up do i used entecc dmx usb pro or entecc open dmx ?

If you are using the USB dongle available here, use the enttec DMX pro setting.
The open DMX is a dumb device where the computer has to do the data stream formatting.
The dla dongle and the enttec DMX pro both have internal processors that do the data stream formatting, freeing up the computer to spend more of its time running the show.

What is an LSD?
Are you using a TX/RX as the receiver or an EX/RX?
Have you tried setting the transmit and receive jumpers to another universe?
These units operate in the same frequency band as your wifi. If the channels are too close together, they can interfere.
I've also had better luck when:
- the tx is at least 6 ft above the ground
- both the tx and RX antennas are vertically oriented
The antennas are not omnidirectional, they have a funny doughnut shaped pattern.
Are you using the most current firmware?

I just found a FREE program that might help.
It will display all wireless devices in the 2.5 & 5 GHz wireless range. This might help in finding what other wireless systems that are close to you and what is causing your problem.

This is a handy utility. From what I remember doesn't the wireless gear run on channel 1 or 3? If it does; I have wireless devices around that area.

Since the 5 Ghz band is somewhat new, it would be nice to have wireless in that band.
The 2.4G band is too cluttered now.

Are you using a dmx terminator at the end of your dmx chain? DMX needs to be terminated so that no reflections come back up the signal chain - I have seen this cause weird results with fixtures before - including flickering.

it detects wireless computer network, but what about cordless phones that operate in 2.4Ghz?
