EtherDongle or LE coops?
« on: November 19, 2012, »
Anyone know when the next coop for the EtherDongle or Express might happen?  I'm in no rush to get equipment but I would hate to buy something and then a coop starts up in a few weeks or so.

Thanks,
Shannon

Probably not for a few months; people are busy getting their displays set up now, and will probably need a bit of sleep in January when the season's done.  Then, we will start all over again.

You can sign up so if anybody posts in the coop forum it will email you so you are aware of any new coop.

Just turn on notifications to the coop forum and it should email when a new post (new coop) thread is started.   You may want to test in another forums first to make sure the alerts are working first.   I've never missed one using this feature.

Thanks.  I already have notifications setup for both the coop forum and the for sale/trade forums.   ;D

I wouldn't even mind a small coop to get everything together (PCB, case, parts, single shipping) even if it means not getting the bulk discount.

That was only possible in early 2008. We now have too many members now that are seriously hook on RJ's boards.  ;D

Expect a whole series in mid to late January (typically).  A good place to look at when these things take place, just look at the past COOPs and see when they were run.  This would give you a good barometer of when you can expect a COOP.  With this said, even the COOP managers do not exactly know where a COOP is going to happen.  They usually just arise within a week's decision to run one.

Welcome to the addiction! *smile*
