So, I meandered into my local Wal-mart into their garden section to pick up the beginnings of my backyard creation for the season....I stroll up to the checkout and start placing my items on the checkout stand and the lady behind the counter asks me, "So, did you find all the Christmas lights you needed for your display this year?"  For a moment I must have looked perplexed, she made the same statement again and said she remembered me coming through her checkout with a cart full of Christmas lights when they went 75% off.  I laughed and said, "yes"...then I told her I was already in the process of building some elements for this year.  She laughed and asked for my address because she wanted to definitely bring her grandchildren to see the display.  I told her she would definitely have to and gave her a business card and told her to call and that I'd have them all over for cookies and milk in addition to seeing the display!  That is why I enjoy doing this.  Though I'm amazed that of all the customers that I'm sure she has checked out since then, she would remember me.  That's either a good thing or a bad thing.

Anyone else on here "known" for their light addiction?

My answer to the cashier would have been something like "uh, no ...why do you have some stashed in the back for me?"  Because you can never have enough lights.
