Time for a soldering station ?
« on: January 01, 2012, »
If you plan on building a bunch of these new toys that will be available you might want to consider a soldering station.  I still have my soldering pencil that I use in the yard and garage to fix things but I can't tell you how much better my soldering station works.  Both usability and quality of the projects I produce. Not mention how long the tips last compared to the old pencil from Radio Shack.

That looks like a good one.  A station is a dream compared to a pencil.  This is the model I have but I think the cheaper models other member have probably work just as well.  Seams like $75 will by a very nice setup that fits the bill for most of us.

I just ordered the digital weller51. Im also a DJ and this thing will definitely aid in fixing busted speaker crossovers.
