When I first went to meet my wife in Ukraine in 1998, she showed me to the Museum of Miniatures in Kiev. I was thinking this was going to be miniature dolls, or objects. The small room is on the campus of the Lavra. The Russian orthodox Church has been holding church services on this campus since 1051ad.

The first one i came to had this notice in Russian and English. The artist Mykola Syadristry wrote
"A hair is drilled lengthwise and polished off inside and outside. A rose branch is inserted inside the hair. The diameter of the flower is 0.05 mm."
I looked through the microscope and this is what i saw
