I am a little confused on the eon coop we offer a parts only kit but the boards have never been made available as just the boards including from RJ what do you all do with the kits.

That is not true.  There have been times when the board has been available without parts and that's why the parts only option is available now.

if you want to get only the pcb, it's best to wait until after the coop then get one from RJ.

Something else to remember is that RJ will only keep so many PCBs of any kind on hand. He orders extras for the COOP so he has some to sell throughout the year.  If he sells them all and more are needed later in the year they will have to be made and will probably cost more due to lower quantities being made than during the COOP. Or it might be the next COOP before more are ordered.

Shaunkad,

It is typical for all COOP managers to offer 'parts only' options for the above stated reasons.  This is a convention we typically use when offering any type of COOP with few exceptions.  Just make sure to order the correct kit so that you get a PCB and parts, if that is what you require.  The 'parts only' option is really to help you guys out (for those not requiring the PCB) and it does not really create much work difference for the COOP manager.

You may be mistaking the Aeon (clock, PCBs have been available in the past) with the Aether (floodlight, PCBs have not been available by themselves).
