Motion Sensor Success?
« on: July 11, 2013, »
Has anyone used a motion sensor successfully with the conductor and trigger board?  I've been planning some things for Halloween and wanted to have a static display running and then when someone approaches the house and sets off the motion detector, the conductor initiates a sequence for lights, props, and smoke.  I've seen ways to hack a motion flood light and i've seen some kits such as : You are not allowed to view links. IIRC, the trigger functin kicks off the routine when the the trigger is released.  This will be an issue with hacking a motion stop light because they hold the trigger on for the amount of time that the light would be on.  If the light has a test function, that usually only holds the trigger for a few seconds and would work much better for this purpose.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving
