Information needed
« on: October 02, 2011, »
I am currently sequencing while waiting for my Ather II's to arrive and since I am including my Athers in my sequencing I came up with the question of whether you can dim Athers up and down like LEDS and am I correct that you plug a Cat 5 cable directly into the Ather just like a SSR4 and that you program it like the SSR4.  I know this has been addressed before but I was unable to find it.

Thanks for any information you can pass along.

The Aethers can be dimmed and the CAT5 directly plugs int them.  They also have a CAT5 output so they can be anywhere in the chain.  You can also set the start address like the SSR4 or the Express for that matter.  If you are sequencing now remember that they are 4 channel units.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving

thanks for the info and reminding me there are four channels and not three that combine to make white,   it shouln't take long to change that sequencing problem.
