unfortunately, that's also when people come to loot as well.
We had the tornado too, my son and I hid in a parking garage down the street. We watched the roof of a store blow through the garage, a 2x6 hit the Suburban windshield microseconds before I yelled "get down!"
Next day, the "damage tourists" and the looters were out in force. Nothing like finding someone trying to steal your stuff out of your own back yard, stepping over debris to get to it. I chained the generator to my
very heavy BBQ smoker. I hate thieves.
