an off-season idea for the trigger board...
« on: November 07, 2012, »
you could setup a gameshow like theme at home. (or for a science project for the kids)

make button for the number of contestants
setup the sequence to light up a particular light (maybe some smart strings inside an acrylic globe)
setup the sequence to make a buzzer like audio sound.

so button one triggers a sequence that only plays on channel one with the buzzer sound.
button two triggers a sequence that only turns on a light for channel two, etc.....  (or even make it flash different colors, you get the idea)

since the trigger only responds with the first button to be released, it will correctly determine your winner!

I know, kinda geeky, but it's a neat idea.

an off-season idea for the trigger board...

I was telling Keith my idea a few weeks ago. To use the trigger board as a alarm system after the show is done for the night. Have different zones with different levels. Example first zone some lights turn on 50%. Next zone all light flash. Next zone the strobes fire off. Last zone sound track of Clint Eastwood calling them a punk and all lights flashing then play a jaws audio track. Or something along those lines
