I do not have LSP loaded yet. I will be driving my show with Conductor , but have been testing with Xlights. I guess I will just have to go back to using my Internet network and scratch the second nic idea.

Ok I have tested in LOR and Xlights and have no light output. Do I need to change something in the software for those to see which port I am using?

Interesting didn't realize Xlights doesn't seem to have a selection for NIC card, never used LOR myself. I know HLS (free) has network card selection in its output setup as well as light testing if you want to test things out You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Win 7 64 I really wish that I could get it to work because in LOR and LSP it totally shuts down the internet. It does not in Xlights however.

Thanks But I really want to be able to look at the lights in what the sequnces are built in for tweeking purposes. I can drive it in Xlights so when it is time to go live I have confidence that the conductor will run shows ok. I want to be able to work with laptop in front of house and adjust my sequences. If I can get the 2nd nic to work I will use the Asus 330N for the wireless end.

try this...

go through the steps, and set your EtherDongle nic (Realtek) to be the first adapter.

Chris I have no problem trying that, but earlier I had connection the the Etd. It was just that LOR and Xlights were trying to use the other connection. I think that if I could get the outputs on those programs to see the second nic I would be good to go. I am fairly certain that I can get LSP to read the second nic, but I am waiting to reload LSP for couple of days.

the steps pushes the snd nic's priority to the top.
so that the multicast packets are sent across that nic.

then the fact that your original nic has a configured gateway, your internet connection flows there.

it should separate your network paths to where you want them to go.

Finally success!!!!!! I just changed the cables so that my internet was on my second nic and had to reboot for the changes to take affect, but it is running! Thanks for all of the help!

One thing that is bothering me though and that is why am I the only one having this issue?  ::)

when you're on that screen  press the ALT key, the menus show up.

But I am not even running a full load yet! I have not even started on any of my pixelnet! I am still in the testing stages!!!! Right now I am only running about 200 channels, but it does not seem to matter. Even a simple 4 channel sequence will shut the internet down. I don't know if it even matters, but I have a 50meg internet speed. For some reason it is like it closes all of the other ports to run the etd, except Xlights. So far it has been solid!
