Did anyone setup a display using the servo controller yet? I'd love to see some video.

hello Dave
Hope things are going good with you.
I was playing around found a cheap poly skull with a hinged jaw. I used a micro servo to drive the jaw but I was a little under sized with the servo. Need to step up a servo size or two. All and all it worked ok for the time i put into it. I was using HLS with Ether Dongle/ hub, had  a little servo jitter when it was idling (no show running). Bought couple more Skulls and will do a better job next year. Sorry no video.
Take care
Jess

I made it as far as a Lindberg skull kit and a few servos.  I have an acrylic plate to put inside the skull to mount the servos to, but work has taken over my life for the past few months.  Hopefully next year.  My wife is getting into the whole animation thing, I am trying to entice her into trying her hand at sequencing.

Unfortunately Halloween was, for the most part, cancelled by Sandy in my part of the Northeast.  So no Trick or Treaters for the second year in a row (snowstorm last year).  :(

But if they had showed up and if we had power, this is what they would have seen.

I used your servo controllers for both of the 3-axis skulls and the RGB Eyes. They worked great.  :)

Hi Dave,

I used it for two different scenes.  The first was a 3-axis that was the Helmsmen on my pirate ship and the second was the two joking guys like maffeirw did but they were just the jaws, no head movement.  I did not mess with the LED's this year as this was the first time working with your boards.  Last year it was the SSC-32 and VSA by Brookshire.  I am trying to get away from them because they are a bit difficult to work with and Vixen has a few add-ons to help with control.  Along with that, I can build an entire show with lights, audio  and motion in one fell swoop.  I have 10 more boards in the lab ready to be built for next year!!

Thanks for your work on these.
