Lynx Express Channel 6 (six) On at power up
« on: November 17, 2012, »
I've built 4 of my 6 Lynx Express boards.  When I connect the express to power - JUST power (no dmx in, etc.) - and to further clarify, JUST power on the LEFT input as looking with the power connectors towards the bottom of the board, I get channel 6 LED lighting up.  The LEDs all function and I see Lynx Express scroll across.

Channel 6 stays lit.  All boards operate exactly the same way.  Thoughts?  Would this indicate the PIC is not programmed??

Note - I tried searching for "channel 6" but I was informed by the forum that all words must contain 2 characters.  Grr...

For indexing purposes, Channel six stuck on.

Had a few PICs with corrupted firmware from one of the Coops that did this.
In addition to LED 6 being lit all the time, the display would very slowly show the "L Y N X  E X P R E S S  6 0 H Z"  at about 1/4 normal speed.
Reprogrammed the chips and all was well.
