I have a TX and the signal is being received by several different LE's with Ex/Rx on them.   Each of those wireless LE is then connected via. cat5 to a second WIRED LE (no ex/rx module).

My question is, should each of the final WIRED LE(s) be terminated or not?

I'm having problems getting the wired LE to work and was wondering if it could be related to termination being done wrong somehow.

Thanks in advance!

the particular "line" runs from the EX to the DMX OUT 2 -> to the last device wired. that last device gets terminated.
the last device in each "line" gets terminated

so TX broadcasting to...->

-> Express(with EX) -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> Express(with EX) -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> Express(with EX) -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> Express(with EX) -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> RX -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> RX -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> RX -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.
-> RX -> some devices -> last device that gets terminated.

If using the exrx, only DMX out 2 is active. There is no data on DMX out.

Thanks ... yes I did find out the DMX OUT2 is the only one that works on the LE with the EX/RX.

Thanks Chris -- thats awesome and greatly appreciated!

Talk about 'dumb moments' ... just realized I had my lights plugged into the wrong controller CH#1 ... and was just chasing my tail.  ARGH !!   It's all working now -- duh.

Should the LE with the EX/RX be terminated too?
The LE with EX/RX has its DMX line end.

The LE DMX2 is a completely regenerated DMX output.

DMX OUT 1 on the Express isn't used, so it doesn't matter. yet, you may wish to terminate to help keep from random firing with the dmx signal down  (show over)
