Wow, thank you guys.
I will never understand this but it works now.
I was copying the files up to a network share and then pulling them down to the second computer.
I checked the permissions and made sure they were not read only.
Nothing worked.
Then i decided to try copying a different way like urthegman suggested. This time i copied to a USB thumb drive and now it works.
