Importing sequences
« on: November 23, 2012, »
I have some Vixen sequences I need to import into LSP. I have my "Default" LSP controller/layer sequence. How do I import a Vixen sequence into LSP and then apply this years defalut comtroller/layer configuration to it without losing my Vixen sequencing information?

Thanks,

Rick S

Start LSP and load the sequence with all of your controllers/layout defined.  Right click on the controller and add all of the controllers to the library.  Next, import your Vixen sequence.  Then, drag and drop the controllers from your library to the controllers in the grid.  LSP will prompt you to overwrite the controller settings.  This will allow you to import vixen sequences and apply existing LSP controller settings.

I had the same question.  I just tried it.  Worked much better than copy paste method I was using.  I do have a couple channels showing really long ramp ups when it should be off...but much quicker than my old way.
