Playback no output with 2 zones
« on: November 25, 2012, »
I have 2 zones setup and tested fine in LSP.  (Exact same as my vixen PC)
Zone 1: Ren64+Ren24 channel 1-88
Zone 2: Ren64+Ren16 channel 1-80
I test controller output and it worked great.
However when I try to playback in LSP I get erratic results.  Sometime zone 1 works only, zone 2 only, and no zones.  I did run a temp cable to try to put all on one zone and got it to work.  I would rather get this to match my Vixen setup since I have vixen running now until I get the bugs out of my new LSP PC.  Any ideas on what to check.

My understanding is two zones are only required if you are using two different protocols.  Since you have the same protocol, you should be running only one zone.

Can I have 2 different com ports on one zone?  I am not sure how to do that.  Any ideas how to set it up?

I would like to know also, as xLights doesn't like the 2 zones for my 2 Lynx dongles when I convert them, so have to program all the controllers on zone 1, which causes issues if I try to play a sequence in LSP.
