Fades, am I missing something?

Sorry, I'm a nb to nutcracker. I've been messing around with the single strand effect and trying to fade between colors instead of solid blocks of colors and can't figure it out. I've tried the fade-in/fade-out, 3d fade, and rainbow, but those look like different effects than what I'm looking for. I would imagine most effects would have this option - to either stick with the solid colors chosen or fade between them, but I can't seem to find it in the single strand effect.

From how I read your post, I think you’re looking for the Color_wash effect to be a part of other effects. Is that right?

That is correct, he is asking for it , and I don't have it yet.

Here are the current effects you can add to a single strand segment:

1) two color chase. Can have fade 3d on each of the two colors. Can change direction
2) rainbow hue
3) by setting two colors the Same, you get solid colors

Here are effects I plan on adding for my display this season

4) twinkle
5) sparkle, white, rainbow
6) leaping arches
7) color wash

Use projects. This way when the new effects come out, you just drop them on the music phrase and regenerate.

Ok, so I wasn't missing something then, just being impatient. I figured since there was 3d, rainbow hue, and the ability to choose two colors, that I was missing something in the interface.
