Dumb string controller with smart nodes

Can I use a DSC with smart nodes to just use them as a dum strand.

If you program them as a 3 channel string I think it might work. Can anybody verify?

No, dumb lights are 4 wire, smart lights are 3 wires.

there is no data line in Dumb strings, they light when power is applied.

So no, you cannot use a DSC with smart strings.
