need help #6 led on

HI to all
I just finished my first LE and all i  get is the 3.5 v & 5v  and the #6 leds on
I think i programed my chip right  but no go and all my sodering looks good

Do you mean you get nothing when running from your computer or that you get nothing when running the built-in test mode on the board?
It could be the chip is not programmed right. Tell us more please.
Don't be discouraged, there are a bunch of great folks willing to help here and I am confident someone will get your problem fixed.

I would reflash the pic. What you are seeing is a normal reaction to the pic not properly programmed.

I had the exact same issue last night (among other Rookie mistakes!).  Reflashing fixed up the ghost #6 LED...replacing a couple of burned out chips solved the other!  Doh!

Just had this exact same scenario, I reflashed pic LE workin like a charm.   ;D

Almost definately needs to be reflashed.  I had this happen on my first few and before I read it here earlier this year I was pulling my hair out thinking I did something wrong.  Good luck, you'll get it!
