It looks like LSP has made some real changes in the scheduler in 2.8. What intrigued me was the mentioning of a SDK being available for writing plugins and also hardware management. I think this is what would be needed to create the clock or sync signal for the slave using LSP as scheduler being able to run video as my show uses exclusively and the slave handling the lights. I haven't received my key to test the scheduler yet, but I like to have a back up, and I just like the idea of using the slave.
