LSP .bak file
« on: December 08, 2012, »
Is there a way to open the bak file?  I am having all kinds of issues with one sequence I am working on. I finally for the wife involved and the dang software isn't working correctly. Now when I open the file it reverts to one I was working in this morning. I can see the bak files from 30 min ago in my sequences folder. Can I open them?

rename .bak to .msq if a musical sequence.

I just tried and it starts to load goes through the splash "loading sequence" etc and nothing happens. The bottom right says 100% and bottom left says finished optimizing.

My patterns don't even load that I copied during the creation of the sequence. I have 15-20 bak files I will try them all. Some work is better than none

I was able to recover most of the work by renaming a bak file from 30 min before the failure. I also downgraded my lSP version from the newest which was giving me all kinds of problems. Thanks for the help
