LED's
« on: December 15, 2012, »
A couple of years ago there was a thread addressing the RJ recommended LED types. 1/2 wave, full wave?? Can someone point me to it?

Thanks,
Brad

I recommend full wave. They are more intense in my opinion.

I recommend full wave because I am sensitive to the 60 Hz flicker of half wave. It drives my eyes crazy and I can barely stand to look at them.

Most people don't notice or can't see the flicker.

Full wave also offers greater dimming control.  I converted my half wave LED icicle lights this year.  Now they behave like regular incandescents.
