Looks like you are getting your error messages confused with different programs.  This is not an xlights issue.

It's related to the smart string utility.

My guess would be that you are trying to run multiple programs at one time which can cause conflicts. If not, I would uninstall the smart string utility, reboot, then install the smart string utility.

Problem solved. Power supple problem.

Unless it was the power supply for the pc running the program, I don't see how it could have been the problem. For the etherdongle, Once you get past the Ethernet interface,there is no feedback to the pc. If using the USB dongle, once you get past the dongle, there is no feedback to the computer.

The only exception to this one way communication is the conductor.

Having said that, windows an be unpredictable at times and a simple reboot can fix many issues...

The error message is still there. But the one of the cables to the 4 port hub loss connection.

I have other problems. But a least this moves me forward.
