Nutcracker: New Effect, pinwheel

New Effect pinwheel. You can vary
direction cw/ccw
Number of arms on pinwheel: 1-6
How thick each arms from 1 to 5 pixels.
Can fade adjust pixels on an arm to make a 3d effect
Each arm can be a palette color or a ranbow color
You can have straight arms or curved

Wow, wouldn't it be great to embed some subliminal messages!  That should be the next effect!

Not necessarily.  It is a straight up effect on an RGB matrix.  This is not something that is targeted to a 'pinwheel' construction.  You could apply it to something like the pinwheel as constructed on that thread, but it would not behave as you would expect.  Think of this as 'painting' the effect on your array of RGB pixels.  Similarly if you had an RGB megatree, this would 'paint' the pinwheel pattern on the sides and front of your megatree  (assuming a 180 mega tree)

Not yet Jeff. Sean did say that he was planning on making a model for the spinners at some time this year.
