New Update:  Pcbs are in.  All parts that are not static sensitive have been sorted.  Backordered part from Digi-Key has shipped early!!  YEA!!

Still waiting on Cat cables, Mouser, Newark and backordered Pics from Microchip.

1.  Backordered supplies from Digikey have arrived.
2.  Still waiting on Cat Connectors to arrive.
3. Mouser and Microchip backorders still outstanding but no dates have changed.

No cat5 connectors for me (I already have a bunch since I made my own for my last SSCs with a cord long enough to reach the active hub and that way I don't have connections exposed to weather).  I await the shipment.  If you are going to the Academy feel free to bring them there and use my shipping payment to help pay for your travel.

1.  all but 500 pigtails have arrived.  these are set to be delivered on tuesday.
2.  Microchip and Mouser back ordered parts still no change to date.

Update Bad news.   Microchip has pushed back the delivery to August 9.

This delay isn't too bad really....as I have a TON of work ahead of me with sequencing....so long as I don't procrastinate until the SSCs come in next month. Now i'm sure you want your office back so fingers crossed by the second week of August you have all the boxes out the door.

Thanks for the personal sacrifice you are making running this coop. Still in awe with the numbers of SSCs that were ordered.

Another update of good news, bad news.

After speaking with Microchip they have agreed to send me 750 chips on July 30.  Thats the good news  the bad is that the rest will be shipped out on Aug 12th.

How do you handle shipping out like that? I know the last time that happened in a coop for me the coop manager went by each user's payment date... kindof a reward for quick payment. That's only a couple days but 750 items out of your office would be nice for you. Thanks again for keeping us well informed!

Woohoo!!!!  After many "Harassing" phone calls daily to beg to move us up on the list to ship out our parts, they have agreed and parts will be here on/around July 30.  Most parts are sorted already so it won't take long after the chips get here to pack things up and ship out to you all.  Get those irons warmed up, tell your significant other that your going into hibernation, and get ready to start assembling the SSCv4!!!

I was about to start retrofitting a bunch of V1s to become V3s.  Now I will wait for V4 to arrive.
