Sparkle and ramp down at the same time
« on: May 31, 2013, »
Hi guys,

The song I am sequencing fades out at the end, and I was wondering if there was a way that I could have lights using the sparkle and ramp off functions at the same time.  How would I program such a thing?  I can also use Nutcracker if there's a way to do it in that software.  Thanks!

you're looking to fade away a set of lights, then sort of have like a random strobe effect?
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!

Yes Chris, that's pretty much the idea except I want a little dwell time on the fades (hence wanting to use the sparkle effect).

In Vixen, I build a fade out effect by creating a ramp down, then copying it and pasting it over the sequence using either the "Arithmetic Scale" or the "Boolean AND" options (depending on version of vixen).
