problem

hello all, Ive had this problem for a while and have been dealing with it.  while doing sequences, I will do a small playback to see how it looks and the screen distorts bad. I have no clue what it is. 
 pc is as follows
  intel I7 3820 3.6ghz
  16gb ram
  64bit os
  GeForce gtx 650
   I've checked and made sure the compatibility is set for windows 7 ...

Not sure if this helps but did you properly install all of the codecs as required when you downloaded the software.

It might be your codecs, but from your screen shot, this looks like a LSP problem. I have seen what you have captured in the pic in some earlier versions of the S/W where the screen is screwed up.

I don't see this at all in my current version of LSP and I'm running version 2.5.4875.37645 (which is the current version released on May 9th). What version are you running currently?

when you say properly install all codecs, they auto install during the lsp installation.. is this correct? It sends me thru the prompts to install so I accept. is there a certain config I should be doing during the install?

I'm gonna try a complete reinstall. This is making me more irrigated than a 2 legged horse in the Kentucky derby.

Be sure to delete the minleon folder after uninstall before reinstalling. If that doesn't help I would put up a support ticket on LSP's website to get Minleon's direct help.

I've never been so frustrated with a program      It runs so slow it constantly freezes and I've gained a few hundred thousand gray hairs. 
 Keith, I did delete the folder. I looked on the lsp site and ppl went back to the 32 bit version. Now I gotta figure out where to get that. I laugh as I write this but I don't when I'm in my office.
UPDATE... I reinstalled for the 3rd time today and it seems ok now. I'm not holding my breathe. I didn't install the 64 bit . Left it at 32.

If it's running slow (or was running slow) my money is on the codecs. I had all sorts of problems with slow performance on an earlier version until I changed the default codecs. After I changed them, all went back to normal.

I agree with ya, if it's working don't muck with it.

One word of advice, back-up your sequences regularly (preferably two back-ups), this is because sooner of later one of your sequences will NOT open in LSP. And if you don't have an earlier back up, you will lose the whole sequence (ask me how I know  )

So with a back up, you can go to the last sequence that did open correctly, or, each time you make edits, name the seq something like seq1, seq2, seq3
