Trouble with Fade
« on: August 28, 2013, »
Found an Issue that I have with the new release 3.1.3 when I put in that I would like a 3 second fade in and a 3 second fade out. create my new Effect Preset then load it into a 45 second sequence here is what happens. when it starts to play there is no fade in but every three second it fades out then fades right back in am I doing some thing wrong ?

Thanks
Richard

Richard, is that what you see in the Nutcracker preview window or on an actual device?

I'll try to set up something similar.

Rich, I'm also not getting a single fade. I had a 20 second long interval. Set a 6 second fade in and a 6 second fade out. I got fading at 6 second intervals but over and and over, not a single fade in, then full on for 8 seconds, then fade out.

I'll try other options and effects.

You can use the Math/Arithmetic paste in Vixen 2.1.1 to achieve fade in/fade out too.
