Watching the Preview function
« on: September 02, 2013, »
I loaded a song into Nutcracker, including the Note Onsets timings from Audacity. Checked all 23 display elements and loaded each element with random effects. Saved it and ran the song in preview and watched all the models blink and flash. I did the same thing with a second song. Forgetting that I had the preview loaded with the 23 models, I only added the mega tree element to the second song. I loaded random effects into the mega tree column, saved it and ran the song looking at the mega tree in nutcracker. Then I switched to preview, to my surprise all 23 models in the preview were running off of the mega tree programming. It was interesting to see how the eves, candy canes, arches and mini trees interpreted the mega tree programming. After watching it for a while, I have decided that I am going to run one song this year with all the models programmed with the exact same elements.

An undocumented feature  ;D
