a humbling message
« on: September 22, 2013, »
Guys and gals, I just received a message from one of my watchers. He said, " you have single handedly made an otherwise financially difficult Christmas for my kids. My family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts" .. It  brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful for those who love this hobby as much as I do. I thank you all because without you helping get my projects running, I couldn't do this for them. I'm humbled.
Its the most wonderful time of the year.

To me that is what it is all about, not a viral video or massive news coverage but the smiles on the children's faces and to see all the families come together to just enjoy the evening and forget all the ruckus of our dialy lives for just a little while.

The first time I recieved a Christmas card with a thank you note from a complete stranger I cried.
I still have it on a shelf in the man-cave.
