color changing lights

Has anybody figured out how to use these with DSC's or ray 27's?

Just by looking at them it is obvious that they are not dumb strings and therefore will not work with ANY type of DSC.  They are pixel strings and each light has independent control.  I would assume that they are using some type of proprietary signaling between the controller and the nodes to control them.  Discussing how to get around their system is considered hacking and doing so on a public forum is not the best idea.  These strings are a bit on the expensive side and it would be far more cost effective to purchase "smart strings" from Ray and add the faceted covers and you have exactly the same thing which are already compatible with the SSc and for less money.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving
